These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Goodfolk Care mobile application and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Not medical advice. Goodfolk Care is an organizational tool to help families track and coordinate care. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Any drug-interaction information, health content, or reminders are for general informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical judgment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider about medications, conditions, and care decisions, and call your local emergency number in an emergency.

1. Who can use the Service

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Goodfolk Care. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Care team and shared information

Goodfolk Care lets you invite family members and caregivers to a shared care team. You are responsible for who you invite and for having the appropriate authority and consent to enter and share information about a care recipient. Information you add may be visible to other members of that care team according to the visibility settings you choose.

When you use the voice assistant, your audio is transcribed and interpreted to create draft entries that you review and confirm. You are responsible for reviewing the accuracy of any entry before saving it.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the information you enter. You grant us a limited license to store and process that information solely to provide the Service to you and your care team, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Service availability

We work to keep the Service running reliably but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any health-related content is complete or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Goodfolk Care will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including any reliance on information within it.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from within the app. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, for material changes, provide notice within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
